Thank you to all of the parents, grandparents and siblings who came in to showcase their musical talents during our musical fortnight. The children were really inspired by listening to the range of real instruments played including acoustic guitars, bass guitars, ukulele, flutes and a keyboard and they enjoyed having a turn too. As a result we've noticed that they have been playing more creatively in the music cabin and have been thinking about rhythm and pitch as they keep a beat with claves and explore the chime bars.  The children have built up a wide repertoire of songs throughout the year by learning the core songs of each term, this also helps them to learn new vocabulary. Soon we will be introducing ten Easter songs with actions, we hope you enjoy listening to your child sing these at home, words to the songs will be shared with you so that you can join in.
