The children have been learning about the concept of a coronation so that the celebrations that took place in their home town this weekend were more meaningful to them. We provided a range of activities including role play, stories, bunting making and fine motor crown decorating using sparkly jewels and tweezers of various sizes. There was lots of new vocabulary to explore and use in context and it certainly got us all in the mood for the Coronation of King Charles III.
