As a step towards our “Follow” goal we have been following simple recipes. A few weeks ago, we made chapattis and this week we followed a recipe to make soda bread scones. These activities involved practising vital foundational skills such as listening to and understanding instructions, measuring out and sharing.  As a welcome bonus the nursery was filled with the delicious smell of baking bread, plus of course we later very much enjoyed tasting the fresh, crusty and still-warm scones!
